    Edson Stroll was an American actor who appeared in over 20 film and television programs beginning in 1958.

    Edson was born 6 January 1929 in Chicago as Edward Roy Stroll. His birth was registered 16 January 1929. His father's name was Charles Stroll, born 1895 in Germany; his mother's name was Estelle Rose, born 1899 in Poland.

    Before beginning his screen acting career, he served in the United States Navy and went on to become a bodybuilder and New York theater actor.

    His father was an interior decorator and his mother a dress maker.[1] They were married in 1925 in The Bronx. In 1933, his parents divorced, and Edson lived with his mother in New York City. By the time of the 1940 Census, however, Edson was living in an orphanage
