Marayke Caroline Jonkers (born 13 September [citation needed]) is a retired Australian Paralympic swimmer and paratriathlete.
She won two bronze medals at the Athens Paralympics and a silver medal at the Beijing Paralympics, along with a bronze medal at the Budapest ITU Triathlon World Championships.
Personal
Jonkers was born on 13 September in Hobart,[1] and moved to Queensland as a baby.[2] She lives in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.[3] She became a paraplegic due to a car accident at the age of eight months.[3] She studied Communications and Social Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast where she received two bachelor's degrees.[4][5][6] She
